Sustainable Energy AS specialises in testing and validating innovative renewable energy solutions. Their role in the GASS is to support and ensure that the pioneering AI solutions are tested, demonstrated, and validated in real-world conditions, meeting both operational and sustainability standards.


By leveraging their experience in renewable energy testing, Sustainable Energy AS will contribute to ensuring that the GASS project delivers real-world impact.

About Sustainable Energy AS

Sustainable Energy is a world-leading test center for green shipping, floating offshore wind, CCS and the energy transition. They cover the development of sustainable solutions for producing, storing, distributing and managing energy – from prototype development and testing in laboratory environments to finished products that need to be tested in operational facilities on land, on ships or in marine environments.


Sustainable Energy is part of Siva's Norwegian Catapult Programme, funded by the Norwegian Government. Established in 2018, we gained status as one of five Norwegian Catapult Centers. Our main office is located in Stord, close to pioneering companies in the industry.
